Back in 2023, we supported the design of the Plunge App. An app that allowed users to communicate with their devices, track sessions and easily maintain their products.
Since then, Plunge have become even more ambitious. They’ve released several game-changing products to market, started hosting events and clubs – and most excitedly – they’ve entered the wellness space. And now they needed a new and improved app to go with it.
We began with a research deep-dive – exploring what makes other health and wellness apps tick. Over time we then began to plot out new UX flows, to really hone-in on the best way for users to navigate a plethora of new features.
Amongst these, particularly highlights include ‘Streaks’. Rewarding users for consecutive days logged – and ‘Challenges’ – giving people a way to test themselves against the community. Whilst receiving badges and achievements upon completion of tasks. It’s this ‘gamification’ of the app that will allow for stronger engagement and staying power with the community. This will only grow over time.
Working on this app is an on-going collaborative project between us and Plunge. We are continually improving the user experience, listening to app-store feedback and adding new functionality over time!
