IDlayr is a B2B company turning mobile phone numbers into digital identities, helping reduce fraud, lower identity verification costs, and increase service usability. Previously positioned as mobile authentication technology, we worked closely with their leadership team to develop a visual identity that would reposition them as a mature and established player in the mobile identity space.

We worked on a new brand that would flex across web and social, with a muted palette and grotesque typography, complimented by bright highlights, to communicate a modernist maturity within their market. The logo contains the abstracted form of a mobile SIM chip, coupled with a simple human shape to create the ID monogram. Variations of the logomark are used as apertures and the foundation for imagery, utilising it as a central editorial motif.
