Authenteq is leading the way in digital authentication, data privacy and fraud prevention, Authenteq’s vision is to enable everyone to stay in control of their identity by creating a frictionless and straightforward ID verification experience.
Authenteq’s success relies on convincing businesses that they can offer the ability to build trust between themselves and their customers. Successful growth since their 2015 launch meant opportunities to break into bigger markets. Authenteq needed a brand to better reflect the business they’d become, and to help them hold their own against competitors with established reputations.
We kicked off the project with a brand workshop, getting to know the company goals, target audience, personality, competitors and history.
They needed an identity that represented trust, inclusivity, reliability and security.
Starting with redefine the logo mark and working through every element of the brand we comprehensively created a new brand visual identity that would appeal to their target audience and reflect their positioning.
To create a brand that would connect with their audience we needed to a single unifying thought that each of the brand’s elements would work to communicate. Whilst Authenteq has deep technical expertise and a comprehensive service range, by focusing their branding just on these, their personality and values were being lost.
We set out to create a set of cohesive brand elements that showed that Authenteq doesn’t just verify identities – it makes it simple to have happy, human users.
Digital brand guidelines
From this strategic jump-off, we created a visual design system that is refined, confident and human. We created all the tools Authenteq would need – distinctive typography, a colour palette inspired by their Nordic roots, unique Illustrations, icons, photography featuring confident and happy users, and helpful messaging and tone of voice principles.
To help the Authenteq team to easily embrace the new brand, we built a digital brand hub, giving easy access to the tools needed to launch the brand and detailed guidelines on how to use them.
Key brand touchpoints
We worked with Authenteq to design a set of key brand touchpoint and templates. It was important to us that a change across the business could be achieved with minimal disruption and maximum excitement and working in close collaboration on these was integral to this process.
The website needed to clearly explain Authenteq’s services, demonstrate what makes Authenteq unique, showcases case studies of Authenteq in action and most importantly convert users into leads and customers. This all needed to be created with an easy to use CMS, allowing for the site to be scaled when needed.
Analytics told us that key pages were getting traffic but not converting users. This meant our approach focused on how these pages were failing – and how we could improve them by providing the user with the information there are looking for and a streamlined user experience.
